Strong Foundations, Lifelong Athletes

Young athletes don't need shortcuts. They need good coaching at the right time. We teach children to move well first, then build strength, speed and confidence step by step, so the progress they make now keeps paying off as they grow.

Move Well First

Good technique comes before speed, load or intensity. Always.

Confidence Through Progress

Every session gives young people a new skill they can feel themselves mastering.

Coached for Their Stage

Sessions are matched to each child's age, growth and experience, not a one-size-fits-all plan.

Built for the Long Term

We're developing athletes for years of sport, not quick wins.

Our Programmes

Training for Every Stage

Year 2–4

Ages 6–9

Foundation Athletes

Fun, active sessions that build the fundamentals: running, jumping, balance, coordination and listening skills. The focus is on enjoying movement and learning to move well.

Year 5–8

Ages 9–13

Developing Athletes

Bodyweight strength, speed and agility mechanics, and landing control, introduced through structured progressions. This is the key window for building speed and coordination.

Year 9–11

Ages 13–16

Performance Athletes

More advanced strength, power, acceleration and change-of-direction work, tailored to each athlete's sport and growth stage. It prepares them for club, county and academy demands.

The 6-Session Block

What We Coach Each Half Term

Every year band runs a six-session half-term block that moves from learning a movement, to controlling it, to applying it at speed. Session 1 includes baseline testing and Session 6 retests, so parents see measurable progress.

4

Change of direction

How We Track Progress

  • Baseline tests in Session 1 and retests in Session 6, under the same conditions each time.
  • Results are shared as personal bests, never as rankings against other children.
  • Bodyweight-only training, small coach-to-athlete ratios and a surface check before every session.
